The Pitt board was a fun read. One of them tried to use loses to TTU and OU like it was some sort of dig. For reference final NET rankings for each team: Pitt (67); Oklahoma (68); Texas Tech (63). Losing to Pitt in the tournament would would essentially tie our worse loss of the year.

I haven't read the entire thread...why did Pitt play Tuesday and then Friday? I thought the play-in game winners on Tuesday played on Thursday?

I have wondered the same thing and haven’t heard an explanation yet.

I think it's pretty clear he didn't want to play on a defense-first team. Look where he is now. Pitt relates pretty closely to Hoiball, and he has the green light to chuck it anytime by the looks of it

It worked out both ways, and that's the reason we have the portal. It wasn't a good fit for him. No hard feelings.

I'm sure his current coach asked him not to comment and provide bulletin board material.

CBS has an article ranking the games and said ISU “may be one of the worst 6 seeds in tournament history”. Wow.

Recency bias. Quoted our high turnover rate and our record down the stretch. Funny thing is he had praise for KSU but they have a worse turnover rate than we do and only won two more conference games.

To be fair, has anyone watched a Pitt game before last night?

Eye test for one game wasn't exactly flattering for them, after minimal viewing it's hard not to agree with the numbers that say this will be the worst team ISU has matched up with in three months. With that being said, I fully expect them to throw up garbage off the backboard from 30 feet out while causing me all sorts of headaches in the process.

Watched a Pitt game during non-con to see Hinson. Don’t remember who they were playing, Duquesne? But there were a ton of players on both teams walking up and down the court. The lack of intensity was stark compared to what I’m used to.

ISU has scored fewer than 60 points in five of their last nine games, losing all five. ISU is going to have show some offense. Make bunnies, make some 3's, Rebound. And, FT's.
