NC/NE Iowa caught a lot overnight in the northern two tiers of counties. Lots of reports of 2-4", with northeastern Mitchell county topping out at 6"+.
It's at least a start for the D1 and D2 drought areas up here, but I think the bulk of it stayed north of the D3 down toward Waterloo. I haven't seen if the D3 over by Spencer caught enough to matter or not. I'm not hoping for a wet harvest by any stretch, but we've got to start building some soil moisture for the '22 crop year or we're going to be in a world of hurt.
