Was supposed to do an overseas training session tonight/tomorrow morning. I REALLY need a second monitor for this to work (Zoom along with sharing a screen of my computer at work I'm dialed into) Two hours before the meeting, I start setting up, and realize the connecting cord for the second monitor does not fit any of the inputs on the laptop. Grrr. Should have checked at work before I left Friday.
That will be me in another hour or so. Supporting a system upgrade that started at 11pm. Client testing will hopefully start soonOh, and now I can't just instantly fall asleep either. meh.
Fun Saturday, took LittleWx up for his first EAA Young Eagle ride and we went on tour of the control tower. Capped it of last night by welcoming home Linn-Mar's 10th Street Edition show choir home from nationals as national champions! CRPD picked them up on 380 escorting them through town until Marion where the MFD and MPD brought them the rest of the way, pretty cool for those kids as several hundred people were there.
For those that may care here is the performance from the championship on Saturday morning.
Live update - I’m at U of I Hospital, going through some of the transplant process. So far this morning I’ve had an echocardiogram, blood drawn (7 ampules worth! ), pulmonary function test, a 6 minute walk, now waiting to have a CT scan. It’s been a full day already.
I am guardedly saying, "This is awesome news!" with best wishes from my whole being today. Thanks for the update.Live update - I’m at U of I Hospital, going through some of the transplant process. Those can be a real b*tch.MrsWx found a leak under the kitchen sink. It was the disposal and further investigation revealed it was likely toast (probably cracked inside the case) so I got to unexpectedly replace that tonight.
