Why are you up this early, again?
I'm really not sure. We have to be somewhere at 9.30, I woke up at 7.00 and lay there for a few minutes before I figured out I wasn't going back to sleep again.

The thing is, with the CPAP I sleep more deeply now and usually only get up once during the night (instead of 5 or 6 times)...so after 7 hours of sleep I'm rested. Sometimes I nap in the afternoon, but I really don't do that much anymore either - I just don't need to. I know it sounds corny, but using the CPAP has really changed my sleep patterns...and my life; I just wish I had done it much earlier in life. :)

Got into a binge read of a fun sci-fi book last night and read till 2:00 a.m. Thought, "Ah, I'll just sleep in till 9 or so." And roofing crew started on neighbors roof at 7:30. In retrospect I should have gone to bed earlier.

It IS gorgeous there. We drove through in the summer, stayed the night in Morgantown, wandered around campus for a bit. I'm hoping we'll go on a roadtrip game sometime in the future.

Speaking of Big 12 towns and fall...and don't hate me...

Lawrence, KS, is also quite pretty in the fall.

Sports bar owner & Hawkeye grad was just interviewed at the watch party for Iowa women's game at his bar tonight. He said they host all kinds of sports game watches, and March Madness will be great for business. He hopes the Iowa men will be in the tournament also, and he says "we know the ISU men's team will be in - I think they're a 6 seed or something".

I am overwhelmed by the depth of his sports knowledge.

This steady soaking rain all day has been great.

Too bad it couldn't do this for about 2 days all over the upper midwest.

Got just a glaze of ice and nary a drop of rain. 30 miles east puddles. Still raising dust on the gravel.

Yeah the creeks and rivers back home (eastern Iowa) could use a good clearing out with some good rain up north not to mention everything else.

Well I got my money's worth on the chicken tenders I bought by mistake this wk, been on the road all wk but home every night, they made for a quick and easy supper, salad with a couple of tenders sliced up in it for protein.

Went back to the last house to finish up a couple things, all the plumbing rough in was done, the shower in the master bath is a double shower. Why? What's the point?

Ask the man of the house, you will just get a smirk. I did that on an appraisal when I saw one. The guy smiled, paused, and said to make sure my back get washed.

They watch too much HGTV. Surprised they didn't make a stupid wet room
Yeah, the wildest ones are where there are like 8 body jets also. Like you don’t have the extra minute to move forward and backwards for the other parts.

Also, showering with your spouse is not fun. When you are married you just wanna get cleaned up.

There's also the height issue: if there is only one spray outlet, the taller person gets ALL the water. And arguing over water temp is also an issue. I like lobster hot, he likes kinda hot. So no, showering together is not sexy...it starts arguments in our house!
