Not exactly sure.
Wife said they need to add a little pea rock to the school playground because it’s like half an inch light now. (Just settled or worked in over the years.

They first had wood mulch when first built but that created splinter issues possibly so they had to change.

The playgrounds I had in school were asphalt. Taught you to be more careful or that a bump/bruise was t bad when little Jimmy snapped his arm while bouncing down the monkey bars.

I can relate. When I was in kindergarten the morning bus got to school a few minutes early so a young Velo climbed the wet with dew monkey bars. Velo lost his grip near the top and banged his chin on each bar in a rapid descent. Had to miss school that day as I got to have a handful of stitches in my chin.

my son in kindergarten just broke his arm on Friday falling form the monkey bars and they have the spongy solid rubber surface. I'm thinking the pea gravel may be the way to go.
Yikes sorry to hear that. We had some stuff that was literally just chewed up chunks of old tire at my school growing up. Hurt to fall on and was a hell of a projectile

Welp not flying anytime soon. Someone else in the club had a bird go through the windscreen and end up in the back seat.

I am now curious what a meat raffle is-- is it as innocuous as giving away meat as part of a raffle?
