Man, that was the winner right there. Rhubarb is the best.

Blerg...

I make the crust for him but he's on his own with the filling and the baking and the eating!

And actually, oldest granddaughter made the crust - I'm teaching her how to make them. :)

PapaLew says he has two pieces left and you can have one.

I'll be in my office tomorrow...I'll bring it if you want it.

Was anyone here not allowed to throw their cap at high school graduation? It's the seniors last day in my town so I though of this. It has been a rule at my high school for as long as I have lived in town (almost 10 years). Only school in the area that won't allow it. I'm sure there are others out there.

We couldn't at Linn-Mar. Actually I don't know of any that do allow it.

Yes, but with the apple nazis, we already know the HS in your town is a bunch of fan hating fascists, anyway.

 Sorry, had to, it was hanging there like a ripe fruit...a smuggled apple, for instance.

still in meltdown mode, I believe, NWICY

and I need to say yes to this opportunity first ;) Though it was funny today - I had my review and we talked about it. Current manager (when I voiced my concerns) is like I found parts of that book Lean In helpful though some of it is crap. Said the things about women's hesitancy to jump in or fear of taking positions they aren't super familiar with resonated with her. I laughed and said I grabbed that and Kirsten Gillibrand's book yesterday at the library. So maybe I'll feel all empowered when I get done and go say yes and demand a 20% raise.

Probably not quite that, ha.

What's usher etiquette?

You always take the arm of the eldest woman of the group, right?

I was an usher in 3 weddings last year. No matter what people will start seating themselves and most of the rest will awkwardly take your arm.

just in time for my housewarming party. But maybe not.
eh no biggy. Plus it would be kind of awkward. Guest: "So, how do know DH and Cowgirl?" Me:"Well I post a bit in a thread that she dominates on cyclonefanatic. So I don't know much about her, but I do know she likes to meow at cats"

edit: deleted the last one bc cf decided to freak out
