If we lose water, we have to shut down because the sprinklers won't work. 'course, we have many sources of ignition and lots of flammable chemicals, so YMMV.

I didn't even think about, and that could have been a major problem.

While at work today, the city shut off the water line that runs to our building due to some nearby road construction. So for the last part of my shift (4 hours) we did not have running water, and porta potties had to placed near the exits/entrances.

Eesh. And people thought it was a "big deal" when a phone line was cut the other day at my husband's work....no internet.

I feel like you all know where 00 works and I don't. Any nuclear plants in IC? Or are you at that place that makes everything smell like bread?

seeing a high school classmate older than us talking about writing papers - not for any sort of advanced degree - and the ensuing discussion about what DH's male classmates are doing now makes me doubly sure that I got the pick of the litter.

There is one who will be an eye doctor shortly, so he's doing well also.

nevermind, I'm thinking of Cedar Rapids. The ethanol plant, I think.

There is the countries largest ethanol plant...along with Quaker (crunch berry days are the best), ADM, General Mills, Penford and Cargill. Does Pillsbury still have a plant there?

Hah...no nuclear plants in IC, but one Northwest of CR in Palo...but no, not there, nor the random stinky places mentioned.

You don't get the weekly 00 newsletter?

Did you subscribe to it through his new Facebook page when you became friends with him?

Still no action on that front...holiday stuff and making toilet paper roll swim goggles has kept me from sitting down with the missus to get the scoop/rundown/plan together. I do think, just to make you seethe with jealousy, that we might have to try and stop by Madison on the way back from the dells. I'll make sure to have CG post the pics on her FB. You can finally see my glorious beard. Oh, and I'll PM you an updated rating...we'll finally get that 3.7 solidified or corrected.
