some woman had a 13lb 13oz baby and the ultrasound was expecting 7lbs. I'd be ****** if I were the parents. That's some serious undiagnosed GD. Baby had some respiratory distress which isn't surprising when you see how fat the face is. Poor thing!

Time to bake some Christmas cookies and watch Christmas movies in that magical time while 2 kids are sleeping and 2 kids at school. Unfortunately the cookies are being donated, but hoping there are a few extras. After taking my two youngest to the grocery store I need some sort of reward.

Wait a minute. I thought before you said he doesn't speak very good English and you couldn't understand him. Now he doesn't speak English at all? Dude's regressing.

While drinking a coffee this morning I was thinking back to my dad. He drove semi his entire life and every time he left he would fill the thermos to the rim. If I did this I'd have to make the seat into a toilet. How do people drink that much coffee?

If I can make a 6 minute PowerPoint on how to set up a health clinic pretty sure you can do that by yourself.

Got a little chuckle out of seeing the guy cleaning the ****ters at work wearing an Iowa sweatshirt. I was classy, though...I considering peeing on the floor a little bit for him, but I didn't.

I appreciate Illinois providing free video so I can distract myself while working out and watch our VB game :)

After boxing up 4 dozen to donate and taking more than a dozen over to the neighbors, these are what is left for us. Should freeze them for Christmas, but where is the fun in that?!

I give up. Sorry for the wonky pics

While at work today, the city shut off the water line that runs to our building due to some nearby road construction. So for the last part of my shift (4 hours) we did not have running water, and porta potties had to placed near the exits/entrances.

If we lose water, we have to shut down because the sprinklers won't work. 'course, we have many sources of ignition and lots of flammable chemicals, so YMMV.

Also, IIRC, the last time they actually did shut water off for something, they did it on a weekend when no one was working, the building had to be unoccupied except for security, and the fire department was on standby with people manning the station rather than just on-call.
