Breaking the grill out! Just wondering, which news station do you watch? I prefer the CBS one

I generally watch NBC. Actually, last year when we were visiting houses, we noticed a lot of suits in the bedroom closet and random local Emmy type stuff throughout. It was the NBC male anchor's house. It was a nice enough house but not what I expected a well-known news anchor to live in. He lives in a very nice downtown condo now. Seems much more appropriate.

I watch NBC from time to time. I just have CBS on already at 10 more often. Do you have Charter? I do and been having a number of outages the past few days and their excuse is "sun spots"....

At the state tourney there were some ISU celebs. Billy and Lyndsey Fennelly, Coach Fennelly and Jodi Steyer. Went over to say hi because I was a student at ISU when Lyndsey played at ISU so I got know her well actually had 1 class with her. Lyndsey trains with Nevada's best player who is freshman whose plays and looks like a senior. She's a freshman and she's 6'2. I'm excited that Nevada might have a player who could play division 1 basketball.

ABC for me. Growing up KGAN was terrible and was getting 0's for ratings. Then when I was interning at KCRG they would copy and paste stories from the website and post it on theirs. Another time there was some kind of farm accident out in Benton county. KCRG immediately sent someone to check it out and were the only media outlet there (I believe someone ended up dying). KGAN came out later ran the story and bought footage a neighbor shot of KCRG rolling up and ran it as "look who was last to arrive". I lost respect for them and never looked back.

The ABC station down here is pretty good and the chief meteorologist is a pilot and flies out of the same airport as me so it is a nice connection. For reasons you can probably agree with we don't watch the sports though.

KGAN would always be my last choice, but I could listen to Tiffany O'Donnell read the phone book.

The weather guys at KCRG are the best, their sports guys are the worst.

KWWL probably has the best overall nightly newscast, but would be better without Ron Steele, IMO.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure I remember the last time I watched local evening news.

Lol, I was asking CG which news she watches because we live in the same viewing area. Wasn't my intention for everyone to answer but thanks for your input.

Cappuccino fudge cheesecake. The fudge/ganache, cheesecake, and whipped cream all had coffee liqueur from the Mississippi River Distillery in them.

The birthday was pretty much like any other day as a mom with 4 kids. Dealt with the littlest 2 all day while the next oldest was home sick. Maybe we will attempt dinner out tomorrow if people are feeling better.

It may be a late night as it seems the 2 yr old is pretty hopped up on sugar.

Listening to Heart "Alone" right now, and I don't curr.

Had parent teacher conferences for 4 YO's pre-school. He's a summer baby, so we could send him to a 'kindergarten lite' type class or to kindergarten. Mrs. was leaning to the K-Lite, because he struggled with the transition to preschool after 2 years out of daycare. I was leaning towards Kindergarten because after his struggles, he really got close with some of the boys in his class, and I was worried he would take a step back if we got him out of that class.

Teacher said he's very advanced for a normal pre-K, much less a young-ish one, so she said she wouldn't say no to K-lite, but she was worried that he'd get bored...example, he can write all capital and small letters, and that's a Kindergarten thing, so he'd be practicing something for 2 years that he already has down.

I know, CSB, but I know you moms like these stories, and I was all proud papa.
