Is it Monday? I'm having a very Monday type of day. Would help if I could get rid of this headache I woke up with about 3am this morning.

I think you will be fine with peanut oil. Are you making them just for yourself? If you happen to take them anywhere, just make sure there is a disclaimer. I am not a peanut nazi by any means, but having a peanut allergic child I try to be sensitive about it.

And brownies are always better with chocolate frosting--got any powdered sugar, cocoa, and butter? Last weekend I made brownie bites (just baked brownie mix in a mini muffin pan) and covered them with dark chocolate ganache. Which reminds me, I need to buy more dark chocolate chips for my cheesecake next week. :)

That sounds like a great way to go for next Monday night. How long do you bake them? Do you use papers, or grease the muffin cups, or just plain???

Anyone else think Birdy's husband is one of the luckiest men alive?

Unfortunately he doesn't appreciate it. ;) He is a traditional chocolate chip cookie/chocolate cake kind of guy. Anything else he isn't that interested (unless maybe it has peanut butter in it).

He will absolutely hate what I am making for my birthday. More for me!

Park with the lower class in C6. You're blocked in all night long, every single game.

Yes, come to C6. We have cookies!

Kinda sucked to drive a total of four hours in non-optimal weather for that game. Ugh.

One section. ONE LOUSY SECTION! I'm not one of the hoity-toities that park north of Hilton!

Come to 239 on Monday. WE have brownies!!!

Doing this gives me fits every time, but I continue to do it. :) I grease really well, I have had best luck with Pam with flour for baking (meaning the Pam spray has flour in it, not flouring the pan after Pam). I like the Betty Crocker fudge brownie mix or the Ghiradelli double chocolate mix. You may want to do a test run. :)

I figure I can be baking on Sunday afternoon. I'll have to bake extras anyway, just to get them past PapaLew. ;)

If you're at the game come up & have a brownie. :)

You'll have no problems with me. I'm strictly a "point & shoot" type. MAYBE a little zoom. I prefer a camera to my phone, though, when it comes to intentionally taking pictures.

Start at 15 -17 min at 350. Want them done enough so they aren't too soft when you try to get them out. I let them cool about 10min and then run a sharp knife around the edge.

At one time I asked to go to the game, but not sure if I will go or not. Oldest has solo contest at school at 5:30, then volleyball at 6:30 (leaves at 6 to get there). My poor parents just got off the plane from their month vacation and I am already bombarding them with activities/babysitting requests. :)

Kinda sucked to drive a total of four hours in non-optimal weather for that game. Ugh.

I started doing "living room workouts" beginning of last year, and was doing pretty good. (Push ups, sit ups, jumping jacks, lunges, squats) Things I could do with my limited coordination. The problem? I have bad knees. I think the lunges and squats were messing with my left one particularly. Hear crackling as you're going up the steps? Bad.

Would getting a semi-decent knee brace help?

Depends on why your knee is bad. A lot of times, over time, slowly working up it's strength is the best thing you can do. Knee braces will only really help if you've recently injured or re-injured it to keep things from slipping out of place of moving in the wrong direction while still recovering.

I agree with what Pants said. Don't do anything that hurts, make sure you have good form, and sub in different moves if it hurts to do moves involving knees.

One of my newbies has had an injured knee. So, she's been careful and coming in slowly or modified things to work. Sadly, her knee was worse than anyone realized and the muscle tore on Sunday. If you think it is hurting more than it should, a doctor visit would be good. (Though her Dr didn't see the tear or signs of either....)

So I have to help interview a May graduate and have to come up with some questions to ask. I've never interviewed anyone before. What should I ask? If he would rather be a cat or a dog?
Just ask questions like:

Do you have a girlfriend?
Are you getting married anytime soon?
Do you see kids in your immediate future?

Those kind of questions.

The kind of questions I got asked in a job interview last summer.

Also throw in "how religious would you say you are?" And "who did you vote for in the last political election?" Maybe for good measure ask how old they are as well.
