I juat had an interview that was a little weird. The building has an address on this main road but is not on the main road and all they had out on the main road was a house for sale type of sign with their logo on it. I pull up and the building has no sign on it either. Finally get into the interview and the head HR guy is wearing an under armour pillow over and a KC Royal's hat. I like to be relaxed as much as anyone but really?

I assume you mean pull over. I read it as a pillow over a KC Royal's hat

Iowa City area
Beloit area is nothing special. Been through Cuba City a few times. Highway 11 is the way I take to go to Iowa. Love that area over there.

Watching Whitewater right now, they are D3 and in my school's conference. They're also undefeated. 4 of they're starters play on the same AAU team, so they're playing basketball together year round, which is why they destroy everybody they play. And that's another thing, you have to have athletes who work year round and take the sports they play seriously, something my sister's team lacks.

I've always thought that if I didn't live in Iowa, SW Wisconsin would be my choice (I know, so adventurous, right?), I love the driftless region.

CG's old stomping grounds in NW IL is pretty nice, too, but could never live there since I hate Illinois nazis.

*edit: Just to be safe, that's a Blues Brothers reference, not implying CG grew up near a bunch of Nazis.

nazis?

I mean, I'm practically from WI. We hate the Chicago people as much as WI do. I like that whole area though, pretty to drive through. I need to go do stuff in Prairie du Chien, so pretty.

She's just a baby still 00. You probably need to explain what the Blues Brothers are as well.

ooooo work dramz. I have no tolerance for people being ******, and someone is being ****** to what 00 would call my minions. Though it's this person's minions too. So we have a big work deadline thing several times a year and my co-person takes one night and I take the next two days as "boss". Turns out they are starting to drive people away with how they micromanage that night......and last time they threw a minion under the bus saying "they didn't send me the corrections to make". I talk to minion, they show me the email and co-person replied to it. I got voluntold to this deal right before my old manager left and then I started doing two jobs, so for most of the past two years I've sort of just had to let co-person be in charge and now last time I was more involved and definitely picked up on the "they don't like co-person" vibe. So now I'm trying to figure out how to handle things. This person is definitely a "something goes wrong I blame it on someone else" and seems to be a bit two-faced.

This is why they make you do group projects in college, ha. Ughhhh.

I gave up on exercising today. The good thing is that the cold should be gone by next Saturday, unless Z gets one again......
