He would have been 16 on July 6th. We knew he would not be around for long. We adopted him at 15, after he spent at least 2 years at the shelter. Part of the reality you have to be prepared for after adopting a senior cat.

But you did an amazing thing by giving that older cat a great end of it's life. Unfortunately, too many of them don't get that option.

Stumbles sorry to hear. Oh and welcome to RTT!

Pantsy you are smart and loving. Maybe nickels will let you bring the dog to Omaha?

So with the Pants dog to Hawaii saga:

I'm really going through an internal struggle right now. Riley stresses out incredibly easy. To the point where his temp will increase three to five degrees just from the stress he gets when going to the vet. So, despite all of the money I've spent for him to come here, I'm really internalizing if I should do it to him. Flying 12 hours like that will potentially be life traumatizing to him. And he's happy with my mom, where he's treated well and has a huge yard to run around with. I almost feel like bringing him here would be completely selfish of me to put him through that just so I've got him, especially when there's a chance he could have to go through it again in a year or two if I were to decide to move.

I know many will think I'm over analyzing this, but I'm sure some of the pet lovers here will understand what I'm going through.

Well, I'm a pet lover, but no, I don't think you're overanalyzing it. Only possible solution is to see if Fred will fly him out in his new jet for ya...let him ride up top in style...I mean, it's the least he could do with all the stress he's caused us lately.

Makes sense. Maybe Fred will let Riley drive?

You are not over analyzing this.

Boxster was my co-pilot for Hoiwatch but I think we are going to have to stick a fork in that mission.

Riley is hired!

Open cockpit flight goggles? Check!

DH brought me flowers, how sweet. Spent too much time on phone, too late for ice cream now.
