no it was weird! I'm not even sure what it was. Looked at me and said 'sup girl, what's your name? And said that like three times. Maybe that doesn't count as being hit on, probably not, I don't know. I was wearing a freaking cardigan and walking into the library, I was confused!

Kid must have been protesting Tinder.

I don't think "Excuse me maam, why are you meowing?" means you were being hit on.

I was not meowing! I was probably still smiling about the little girl who stuck her hand out as "stop" to me so she could walk across the parking lot. I was already waiting for them, but she was so authoritative about it. It was adorbz.

Ah, nature was taking over. Rando dude sensed your ovaries squeeing and nature gave him the urge to mate.

Quick backtrack to my earlier comment about my daughter and homework.

I was watching my daughter at gymnastics tonight and I get a text:

"Did Talia say anything about Caterina's homework tonight?"
"Uh, no. Why."
"Her math is all correct and much neater than normal"
"Talia did her homework?!?"
Receive picture.
Me - "Ah hell. I'll talk to her."

That was one of the weirdest scoldings I've even given that girl.

Natural selection and survival of the breed doesn't know what marriage or age is, unless it's an age no longer able to breed. Did you not learn biology or science in your homeschooling?

Considering the demographics, I'm pretty sure the standard homeschooling texts don't say anything at all about sessytimes, other'n it's bad and you should feel bad.

43 straight days with at least 10,000 steps. Despite my return to pop I've lost 3 more pounds, now down 16 pounds overall.

OK, as much as I typically just roll my eyes and try not to gag when most celebrities talk, gotta admit, I like this quote from Alyssa Milano about becoming a parent:

“I would say that love that you feel is so profound that it is life altering, but it is like living with your heart outside of your body because you allow yourself to love so deeply you become so incredibly vulnerable, and with those vulnerabilities you are able to explore who you are as a human.”

I saw the hitting on comment, pretty sure some kid tried to hit on me yesterday walking into the library. Da fuq.
When I was a tour guide at Wooster we'd occasionally give tours to middle or early high schoolers. Since it was on our route, we'd take them into the gym and occasionally I think one of them would try and flirt with one of the girls running on the track.

Also, 00, you've gotten me started saying sessytime in actual conversations

So kinda along the way of Boxter's bikeride, I had to make my way through campus a few times tonight. I will say I have no qualms about hitting you if you are walking with your phone in your face. Pay attention. Driving down Lynn there were frat boys playing lacrosse across the street--didn't even stop for a minivan. Next street I turn down, guy longboarding down the middle of the street. Then I have to turn into Towers parking lot, right before I get there 5 girls are crossing the street on Rollerblade and go into the lot. No room for me, oncoming traffic, and 5 rollerbladers. They were probably like "what is up with the old lady in a minivan". Almost hit another pair of students while trying to get out of the parking lot. It was almost fun to see all the activity, just sucked to be a motorist.
