I went to the senior night Football game and had a moment where I realized they are now 10 years younger than me. Felt like a good reason to drink.

On Halloween, I was mentioning to my husband it was exactly x amount of years ago since I got my bottom braces on. (Cruel cruel thing to do to an almost teenager) I then thought, and said "Isn't [youngest SIL] x years old?"

My most recent old moment.

Thinking of leaving hotel and walking over to quick shop and buying a 7-UP. Pop is, of course, the devil but I haven't had a soda in weeks so might have to do it. Might have something to do with that fat salty Iowa tenderloin sammich at the "sports" bar earlier.

@CloneinWDSM 's "stepstool" comment struck a chord with me yesterday. In high school I was a shade over 5'3" depending on how much I stretched. Yesterday I had my annual physical, and she asked how tall I was...I said about 5'2", because that's what I was the last time I remember having my height measured. She said "maybe we'd better check". She took pity on me & wrote down 5'1", but even with stretching, I missed it by a hair. At the rate I'm going, I'll be under 4' by the time I am 75! :(

My mom always says she was 5 2, at 85 she's around 4 10 now.

Baldwin does such a great Trump. I was catching the SNL clips throughout the night last night and cracking up.

I was watching Colbert last night and was looking forward to what he was gonna say tonight. Then I noticed that his show tonight is live on Showtime. WTF Colbert! Nobody watches Showtime!

We get a subscription to Showtime for one month every year so that we can binge watch Homeland. Otherwise, yeah, we don't watch Showtime.

What's on HBO during that time slot? That's where he should have gone

Just saw what I thought was a political ad that I thought went too far, turns out it was an ad for man in the high castle.

Well off to empty the attic of my mom's old house with my BIL. 64-years of stuff up there. Should be fun.

I look at some of the stuff up there and wonder how my elderly mother got all of the stuff up and down from there over the years.

When my parents moved to town from the farm, we had to help clean out the attic. Those stairs were comically steep. And we had one of those attics where the stairs lead to the floor of the attic and the "door" was essentially a piece of wood that was hinged at the floor and swung to the left, leaving the stairs as a veritable death trap if you happened to make a mis-step.

Growing up, my brothers and sisters would take turns scaring the hell out of each other up there. We'd dare each other to go up there at night with the lights out. It was clean, but it was creepy as ****. Heck, I hated going up there as an adult in the daytime to help clean it out. Instant goosebumps.
