Not exactly sure.
Some lady just called me and after I said hello she then asked me if she had the wrong number. I told her I had no idea who she was trying to call she then hung up on me

Or buy the one gallon and paint a test patch. If you like it when it dries go back and get your other two gallons. Then you can mix them confident that it is what you want.

I had to match the color on my shed trim. I had the color name and number and everything but it was so old they didn't even have it in the system for the same manufacturer. They did an awesome job matching a chip I brought in. It took them two tries but they had it done when I had my shopping done and made it back to the counter.

see, I called today to verify that they can do matching like that and not just go on formula. Cause I think that's the problem. They tried to scale up formula labeled on the sample can (which got close) but I think it'd be easier to just match what I've painted on a sheet of paper rather than try to tinker with the formula. Because it's starting to look like maybe my sample can was defective or something and not quite 100% match to the formula or something. But yes, once we get it nailed down, I'm planning to get the rest of what we need.

I don't think there's anyone on CF in the Milwaukee news viewing area, but the Fox station has a poll of 3 games to cover on Friday. Ours is one of them. It's a tight race so far, we're in 2nd. First place game has 1,380 votes, we have 1,330.

A link could help you get closer.

A lot of builders will really jack up the prices of painting in colors other than flat white. Flat white tends to hide flaws in the walls that the builder will come out and repair for about a year.

flat white is what we have, bingo. That stuff shows every tiny scuff and mark, holy cow.

A little rant here. Hoping to be more brief than a CG dodge ball recap. ;) Club volleyball tryouts were the past 2 Saturdays and this was new for our club; usually tryouts for the age we play were one day. We let the director know we would miss the 1st tryouts (out of state softball tournament). Come to find out at the tryout we missed they were already handing out bids. One of the teams she was eligible for had all but one spot of their roster set before the 2nd tryouts. She made the next team down. Talent wise she is probably right where she would be, but just seems a little unfair to those who could only make one tryout. And come to find out the higher team will be coached by an assistant ISU volleyball coach while we get a young gal with just 2years coaching experience. She was also our coach last year and there were some frustrations with her coaching style. Oh well, daughter just wants to play and at 5'1" (and not a libero) she will not be playing college volleyball. ;)

in paint news, she fiddled with the current gallon, now it's too dark. I suspected starting with a new one would have been better. She's calling the paint rep in the morning because we confirmed that my sample is a dead match for the paint chip and what I originally got in the gallon was def lighter and more green. So she's not thrilled that their sample is not matching the formula for the gallon.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

it would have been significantly more $$ to have them do anything other than a range of about 3 shades - white, builder's beige, and a cream color I think. We got to pick one trim color and one wall color. Anything beyond that cost more. So we did white so at least ceilings and closets were done.
The other big problem - we'd have also been on a tight deadline and had to have picked custom colors before drywall was even in - much less light fixtures, flooring, cabinets, furniture, etc. So picking a color that would have looked nice in a finished house based on studded walls? Bad, bad idea for us. We knew that until we lived in the house and saw what light was like in it and how paint samples looked that we'd never end up with something we liked and paying for a custom color would have been a waste of money. If either of us had had much experience with picking colors and painting, we would have liked to at least have paid to do the area we are now doing gray, but we didn't.
The frustration now is that you pick something you like and can't reliably get it replicated. We didn't have too much trouble with the green/blue for the bathroom so I'm hoping that after this yellow and gray, other colors will be easier. This gray color is also what we want for the entire living/dining/kitchen area, entryway, and hallways so I'd like to be absolutely sure we like it before it's in most of the house and we hate it! People keep telling me gray and yellow are hard. So blue will be easy, right?!

Good luck!

Sister told me 2 girls are pregnant in school, both seniors. That's 2 more than normal. One's dad is a retired Marine. Not sure how that one went over, probably not well.

I may be novice on this subject, but do teen pregnancy normally go over well?

Cubs wins the WS. Trump may win president.

If y'all don't believe that CG or 55 will eventually fall in love with me, just wait. Things tend to happen in 3's..

If that scenario does happen, I just assume there will be a Twilight Zone twist where it won't be what you expected it to be.
