Something I read in research a few minutes ago.
It was a concert to raise money to fight against slavery, but had one really upset patron.

It was random. I thought it would fit.

Based on the way racists are coming out of the closet I figured it was current events. :(

I thought maybe you were lost and it was more of the Hamilton brouhaha...

That would be more fun today.

All of the pieces regarding juveniles for the last hour or so have involved old people's perceptions that juveniles are delinquents, until one contributor finally fired off that children are meant to be seen and not heard. Glad to get that in.

We're in the hideously boring stretch of research today.

I've felt like utter crap for the past four days.

The worst part is I'll probably recover in time to be healthy enough to help out over Thanksgiving instead of being curled up under a blanket on the couch watching the Cyclones and Vikings.

I may need to run through the sprinkler a few times tonight after my wife goes to sleep.

I came down with a cold on Sunday night. NEED to get over it by tomorrow. :(

What kinda implants we talkin about? ;).
Definitely not THOSE!

An implant is what they do when there isn't enough tooth left for a crown. They pull the tooth, let the hole heal, then implant a post in the jawbone. Then a crown is screwed onto the implant. It's more durable than a regular crown because there is no tooth or root left to decay underneath the crown. Downside is it's a 6-8 month process from pulling the tooth to final product placement due to healing time (the long end is if you have bone loss and they have to graft...takes longer to heal)...and the expense. The upside is my implant behaves just like a normal tooth...and it beats having a bridge or dentures.

I got one several years ago, and am in the process of the second one. They pulled the tooth in early June, installed the implant back in early October, and crown will be installed in January. Until that's done, I have a slightly hillbilly smile (it's the tooth right behind the incisor).

Finished my research goals for today AND tomorrow.
That's a good feeling. I learned a lot of things, most of which I really didn't want to learn.

Like most research times, it goes the other way from the hope of the beginning, but I learned a lot that I can use.

My daughter has been bugging me about seeing Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Since it is PG-13, I figured I'd checked out IMDB to see what I'd have to worry about. It seems like the rating is mostly due to action/violence (and most of it is fantasy related) so I feel like I should be ok.

Amusing note: under the Profanity header it says "A couple of utterances of the word 'bugger'"
