It has nothing to do with rape. It was a mismanaged encounter between a drunk & disorderly female fan and four security guards. Lot of stupidity all the way around...

Again, I see no reason why it was important to put "female" in the thread title except excitement over a a woman being hit, but not about to open it.

The fact that "female" was included in thread title was enough for me not to even open it.

It seems that about half of CF believes women always lie about rape and usually deserve to be beaten (they always qualify this with even though they have mothers and daughters, I usually assume they loathe them too).

Wow....if this is true, then I think we need to do a thorough housecleaning. Apparently a little testosterone is a dangerous thing. Nothing sends me into a rage faster than when I see a man beating on a woman. I tend to get way too courageous when that happens, sometimes to my own detriment.

Surprised I am not more hungover. It's the ISU football effect.

Also out of bananas. That is bad, very bad. Going to have to make a grocery run since that did not get done after the game yesterday (cause busy beer commiserating the game). Also need to pick up some carrots and tators....going to try out the new Dutch oven this afternoon after I do some more yard labor. Any fav recipes for roast pot of the beast?

A little late but this is how I make my pot roast:

I shouldn't have gone in there but I am not smart enough to not do so. Apparently it is fairly acceptable for a cop to cold clock you if you slap them while drunk. My toddler hits and kicks me all the time (not a fan of bed time or wearing clothes at times...) but I don't go hitting him.

Like many other threads on CF, after the first page all that can be said has been said. Then it turns into an argument over whose opinion is right.

My favorites are...

One vs Two stage snow blowers
Any restaurant
Uniforms
Anything with the police
Honorable mentions are the old debates of cardinal and gold rules games

JFC, no one has posted here in over 9 hours.

Slightly drunk and home from gamewatch. Drinking wine, eating cheese and Halloween candy watching Gophers and working on totes drunk.

Mpls Gamewatch Summary:
  • Clonee sighting this afternoon at gamewatch!
  • Cute waitress sightings.
  • One cute three year old Cyclone turning a hamburger into an art performance piece.
  • Hundred or so disappointed fans.
  • Corgi talk.
  • Mediocre bar food tasting.
  • Limited opportunities for a Pants TD flag run around the bar.
  • After the game listened to bar owner tell some after game patron how ISU had lost to "Virginia Tech", JFC dude at least get the names right, we dropped 2 or 3 grand in your bar this afternoon and tipped the hell out of your wait staff.
  • **** , wish I had some pie.
  • ****, I don't have any pie.
Yep. I made it to a gamewatch. Pants and Boxster are actually really nice people. I'm not saying if I was offered money to say that or not.

I'm itching to do a Christmas cross stitch project.

Boxster, I do mine in the crockpot but it's water, potatoes, carrots, onions (thanks to Carvers for that suggestion), bay leaf, recipe secret - mushroom one, Worchestershire sauce, salt and peppe.

But if doing it stove top, I'd sear the roast on all sides first. Yum.
I use the same recipes but, instead of using mushroom one, I use mushroom soup.

With my 5 week fitness test on Saturday morning at 7 it doesn't look like I will be able to make the game. Probably for the better as we are having the baby dedicated on Sunday morning and it is also MrsWx's birthday next Sunday.

The Christmas lights were in a tangled mess so I was not able to get those up on Friday. Maybe next weekend?

In laws want to take all of us up to MSP after Christmas for our present this year. I said no. We already went with them to Orlando last year and are going to Branson with them next year. It is okay to do things without each other.
Just come up here and hang out with us Twin Cities Clones. I'm sure your wife would understand.

I debated it since there is at least one MBB game during that time but this is more about me wanting to do something with just us for once. I have already said that next years vacation is the last one with her family for at least five years.
