Pants, Riley doing better?
He's slowly acting more like himself. Whimpering and whining still, but baby steps, I suppose.

High school girls frighten me. I don't think my daughter is too bad but a lot of them are devious and downright mean.High school girls are a little scary for me, but maybe because I'm just around boys. I actually wish one of them would come home with a nervous one for a change. They are much more assertive than teenage me. We must have about a dozen prom pictures around here, and only once did one of my sons do the asking.

It seems like there's little in-between with girls. They're either very nice or very mean.Social media appears to bring out their worst, high school guidance counselor and vice principal are always dealing with social media bullying by the girls.
@BCClone - How's your son handling things?

For the most part, I find that all high school boys are just kind of dumb. Not in the book sense but in the "I have no idea what's actually going on around me" sense.
I guess the good news is that he should be fully healed for his senior year and the big break dancing competition.Rough, but probably as well as possible. He had amazing stability in his knee for the he injury, was working out and everything. Tuesday we saw the specialist, he made the decision to have surgery. So Wednesday in Ames, his junior year athletically comes to an end. June 1 is his return day.
As frustrating as it can be for myself and my wife, the naivety is somewhat refreshing. It's also very much similar to me until late in my junior year so, for better or worse, he seems to be turning into his dad. God help him.Yep. Mine are completely out of any gossip kind of loop and unaware of most that does not personally affect them. Girls seem to be all up in everyone's business. Boys have some friends in Creston from various sports but were unaware of the brouhaha there until I asked them if they talked about it at school.
Been working on 70 yr old house hold plumbing the last couple of days. That was a treat. I think we have it all fixed. ( I hope).
went to the gym. Didn't pack any pants. Left gym. I've dealt with forgetting my shoes, socks, sports bra, and hair ties (the worst!!!).........but I draw the line at working out in jeans.

Did you talk to the vet about a UTI or kidney problems (asking based on the FB vid you posted)?He's slowly acting more like himself. Whimpering and whining still, but baby steps, I suppose.
