Trumps, way better now.

It's on the west side of the interstate. Boondocks is really ran down last I ventured in.

Yep, I met a vendor rep there for a trip to northern Wisconsin. Had to go in and use the rest room, I felt like I needed a shower afterward. And the smell....

So, @jcyclonee, if I jsut stand at the edge of the pavement with my thumb out, will you at least stop and pick me up?

Sounds like the place a friend, MrsWx and I stopped at in HS along I-80 on our way to DSM for state bball. The few people in there just stared at us like "OUTSIDERS!"

Just because Woo wants a smart girl doesn't mean he wants to do math equations on a date. He's more into tort reform and constitutional interpretation.
Exactly! Except tort reform is stupid and probably shouldn't happen (plus it's probably like politics: a really risky thing to bring up on the first date)

I must have been the only person who went on a date because it seemed like it would be fun, and no innuendo here.
Normally I would too, but if she doesn't realize that God bless America is not the national anthem, and is that much younger than me, it probably won't be all that much fun considering that we're probably going to be interested in different things. Especially considering that I really only want to ask people out who I could consider being in a relationship with.

Plus, dating someone under 21 would feel kind of cradle-robbing-ish, and seems like it would just be a hassle. If we're going out with friends I don't want to be concerned with whether the girl will need a fake or where we can go that won't kick her out at nine.

I love me some smart women but most smart women are smart enough to not be interested in me. :( Unless smart AND crazy which explains CWW to a certain extent. Life would be simpler if I was attracted to dumb but once you've gone smart you can't go back.

Hmmm, rethinking this some. Younger. Maybe smart but just uneducated? Diamond in the rough?

If you have some Tico, of course I'll stop. The added bonus would be that it would annoy Pants.

We did get an early start. Took the kids to soccer practice.
You want me to jump that catus? Alright.
That lady's awesome.
I don't see a possum.

That commercial with Flo on the motorcycles makes me laugh. :)

BTW, I did see a real possum this afternoon. Think that is a first after living here 30 years.

I'm not saying they are hilarious by any means, but I like some of the Flo commercials. The 50's-styled one that contains the line "Shhh, men are talking" sounds like something my brothers and I would say to our sisters during a family get-together.

Not usually a Flo fan at all but some of the recent ones are kinda funny/clever. They have upped their game some.

Does anyone else use the Nextdoor app at all? If you're not familiar with it, it's essentially Facebook/Craigslist for a neighborhood. People sell things locally, recommend local businesses for home repairs, report lost pets (this is about 99% of the posts honestly), etc.

About once a week for the past 2 years, someone posts about seeing coyotes and then reminds people to keep their small pets indoors during the night. It's like a traffic report during rush hour at this point.

I made a minor quip about only having to worry about the ones that are wearing ACME rocket skates since they are clearly more aggressive, and no less than 6 people chastised me for being insensitive towards people with small pets.

Yet one more reason I don't hang out with my neighbors.

However, the Super Genius coyotes are less of a real threat than their dimmer witted brethren. As chronicled by famed wildlife documentarian Chuck Jones.

I am signed up on Nextdoor but usually delete the emails after reading the topic headings. For some reason I am connected to a lot of different neighborhoods. So when someone lost a cat downtown, I'm not going to be looking for it a few miles away right away.

It's gotten a lot less social over the years. You used to be able to strike up a conversation with ease. Anymore, it will be a gorgeous day outside and you'll hardly even see anyone outside unless they are doing yard work.
