Probably some random disliker out throwing around negative posts. Either that or @jcyclonee is messing with his mind.
I don't have enough mind power to mess with my own mind, much less somebody else's.

Also, the disliker's name is Tolstoy. We can assume it's just another Russian hacker.

By the way, I did read War and Peace. The only thing I remember about it was that it was long. I also saw the movie. It was not Audrey Hepburn or Henry Fonda's finest accomplishment.

A friend of mine from college was testing some motorcycle packs to see how his bike handled with them. He was doing about 60 out near Boone and hit a doe. Totaled his bike, burned a spot in his helmet down to the styrofoam (normally he didn't wear one), and through a jean jacket, sweat shirt, t-shirt and skin to his shoulder bone. Other than that, he wound up with a sprained ankle. Kind of ruined our rock climbing trip for the month.

When I was a young child, my Grandma was driving me near Boone and hit a deer. Being that it was the early 70's, I was sitting in the front seat and not wearing a seat belt. I hit my head on the dash. This probably explains a lot.

Not exactly sure.
My wife and I have gone jogging while our daughter goes to soccer practice. Last week, we came across a skunk about 20 feet from us (we turned that jog into a sprint really fast), and then last night we came across 8 deer about 30 yards away. Two of the deer leaped as they ran away and I swear their hooves were a solid 8 feet off the ground. It was cool to see close up.

Did one have a red, shiny nose. Getting close.

I was driving an old grain truck when I was like 15-16 years old. Deer crossed, good sized. I braked to cut speed and try not to lose control. That deer went up and cleared the fence line after I touched, couldn't find it. Somehow limped off. I couldn't find even a scratch in the metal grill and bumper.

Sorry wasn't of me. Hubby is in there somewhere but since the picture was taken on a TV playing a 20yr old VHS tape, I can't remember which one he is.

????? You don't remember what your husband looked like 20 years ago? Something you not wanting to tell us? :)

Was driving to Pekin for a 1st round playoff football game. It was dusk, and I remember everything being brown, like it was being seen through a sepia filter. Going along behind three cars when they all suddenly brake, and I see something fly through the air and land in the field. I thought the first car had hit a pheasant, and that I was seeing it injuredly flying away. Nope. Deer helicoptering through the air to land in the field. That was weird.

I've lived in three states with high deer populations and many many car vs deer accidents (Washington, Texas & Iowa). Knock wood, I have yet to ever hit one when driving.

Has anyone ever vacationed in Switzerland? We are still contemplating several vacation destinations and it strikes me as an intriguing option.

acquaintance from college went a few years ago and loved it. Think she actually went back a couple years later. But she likes farms, open country/mountainsides and cheese so you know.

my first accident was hitting a deer at about 5mph. Saw it in the ditch and slowed way down. It came across the road part way, then went back again and hit my passenger side. I still maintain that it attacked the car. This was mid-November and I had just seen two hunters going out. Cause it was like 4am and I was on my way to a music event thingy.
