food ideas for a new momma with a poopy gluten intolerance.

My go-to is lasagna/pasta dish that can be frozen and portioned out as needed. I suppose I could probably do with gluten-free noodles. And energy ball bites which I always sneak 1-2 of. Those are super easy to eat and both moms I've given them to have asked for the recipe so that must mean good things.
Online says fresh fruits and veggies are welcome as well but figured I should ask the moms here.

Good day at work and got home in time to sneak in the 420 bike ride, did it in pretty good time it's amazing what a motivator the dislike of road riding in the dark can be. Boxster would have been at home nice brisk 10- 15 mph or so head wind for half the ride.

It will probably get better as it gets cooler. Hang in there, Mrs Wx!

Not so much heat related as BP, constant headaches that won't go away, and dizziness. We have been in several times but they are not overly worried so I would be shocked if they induce her. Basically she feels miserable but they have no answers which frustrates her more.

I loved getting fresh fruit--I love fruit, and it was something easy you could grab from the fridge to snack on. We always ate meals right away and then just had leftovers in the fridge for other lunches/suppers.

The Iowa Girl Eats website has a lot of gluten-free recipes, I have made her recipes before. She actually became gluten intolerant after her first pregnancy. And her oldest has a milk allergy so many of her recipes are also dairy free.

I used to follow that blog a long time ago when I tried to get into following blogs. I'll have to check that out, thanks. Friend likes fruit so maybe I'll go with that. Our other friend's baby was super intolerant of dairy when he was born so even though mom was fine.......I just feel like lasagna overall (while delicious) is maybe not my safest choice. Maybe I'll stick to snacks and such. Maybe something like chicken tortilla soup instead.

Fruit for sure. Apparently Serena Williams craved asparagus, can't imagine ever wanting that. I avoided tomato sauce after husband made spaghetti I ate right before the first time. Energy ball bites sound good. I ate a lot of yogurt. Plus peanut butter oatmeal bars. Peanut butter anything really.

Increase in BP is normal at this stage, assuming no protein in urine problem or they would be worried about preeclampsia. Praying you guys have an easy go this time.

I'm getting deja vu - I know she had the appendectomy the first time, didn't she end up with higher BP and some of these same symptoms with toddler wxman the first go around? It's one thing if the protein/BP levels aren't high by normal standards, but if it's way high for MrsWxman's typical numbers........they should take it more seriously.

I'm not sure why we have six cats when we really only need the one cat. Sunday morning Papalew told me Button woke him up the previous night - she was playing catch with a mouse. This morning I went downstairs and found a mouse head in the living room. No mouse. Just the head. Tonight he went downstairs to get a glass of water and Button came flying up the stairs. I go to see what's going on and the other five cats are all in a circle around...you guessed it...another mouse head. I think they were praying to it. Or waiting for Button to complete the job - it was VERY fresh.

It's fall - the mice are moving indoors. So, yay? One thing we know for certain - Button is not a zombiecat. She leaves the brains behind.

She had issues the first time and was induced at 38 weeks and actually a day earlier than scheduled because she started having vision issues. She said she started getting some of that this past weekend so we will see what the doc says on Wednesday.

I'm remembering she had some problems the first time around. Is more rest an option? Does it even help? I really hope she gets through okay...I feel bad that what was the best part of it for me is so difficult for her. Tell her we're all sending well wishes and healthy vibes to her...

It is with Boxster. Need some code for wxman when his joyful event occurs.

I "labored" today...drove 280 miles down to Manchester including the 3 mph gridlock for miles at the Owatonna stretch of I-35 that is down to one lane...seemingly been this way forever but supposedly going to reopen this month. It's estate sale road trip time.

Got to the house and found my sister, who has been going through stuff the last two days, has been mostly rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Estate auction guy is hauling stuff away tomorrow and there is nothing I want from the house which my sister doesn't understand. I want to throw everything the auction does not take away into a dumpster and that seems to piss my sister off. Also BIL seems a little miffed that I was biking yesterday and not doing the deck chairs dance in Manchester. o_O I don't want this stuff and filled my car with old toys and porcelain signs to BRING to the auction. If you let me sort it's going into the garbage. It's your wife that can't let go of anything.

My job tonight was to sort all the stuff in my dad's huge old oak desk. Okay, that took like 20 minutes max and I tossed 90% in the trash. Next! My dad died almost 10 years ago, anything I wanted I took a long time ago. Everything outside of the auctionable cool stuff is trash.
