She had issues the first time and was induced at 38 weeks and actually a day earlier than scheduled because she started having vision issues. She said she started getting some of that this past weekend so we will see what the doc says on Wednesday.
I'm sure you are and this is entirely unnecessary, but keep an eye on her. Pre-eclampsia is not something to mess with. I had recently read about a labor nurse dying of HELLP syndrome a while ago which led to a woman on Reddit (who had read the same story) getting herself into the doctor and caught in time. The labor nurse had protein/BP numbers that were elevated but not in the danger realm so it kept getting ignored. It became part of a recent NPR story on maternal death rates in the US. So now I'm paranoid about stuff like that. Have told DH that when we get to that point, start beating down doors if my BP is at borderline levels cause that equals super high for me.
If she starts complaining of nausea or stomach-ish pain (not contractions) go to the doctor and do not pass Go.
I'm probably being super alarmist and hopefully everything is totally fine for you guys.
