Not exactly sure.
Arts and Academics Expo at the middle school last night. Here is the best highlight. We learned that one of my daughter's best friends tries to scare my daughter most every day before class and it hasn't worked yet this year (the friend is, how shall we say it, a bit unaware of her surroundings at times). One day, she decided to hide in the cabinet where the paint shirts are kept with the plan of jumping out and scaring my daughter. When she did this, a third friend put a pencil through the latch so she couldn't get out. After a bit, there was a knocking coming from the inside of the cabinet. Luckily, this art teacher has a great sense of humor.

Reminds me of elementary school. I think I was second grade. This one kid a year younger ran into the bathroom during break, while myself and another classmate were in there, and wanted to scare his buddy. He jumped into one of those tall skinny metal garbage cans. Tried to squat down knees to chest. All that was sticking out was his head.

Buddy comes in and he tries to jump out and scare him only to realize he is stuck. His buddy and the two of us start laughing when he says he can't move. Classmate says he can get him out if he tips it over. So he tips it over with the kid yelling. Non stop screaming while a couple second graders are yanking on him, rolling him around, trying to turn it upside down and even kicking it a couple times. Hey, back then kicking things sometimes made stuff work.

Well, bell rings and we run back to class (can't be late). We are giggling so teacher asks what is funny. We tell her Jimmy (real name) is stuck in a garbage can. She is confused so we tell her what he was trying to do. So she goes in and finds him. Rumor was janitor took a chain saw (guessiñg it was a saws all) to get him out. Next break we run into the bathroom to check out the garbage can that is mangled. I still laugh when I think of the kid screaming while two elemtay kids try to get him out.

DH turns 30 next week. Says he doesn't want anything but I still wanted to get something. I have one idea for something small but still feel like I should get him something else.

We have our first baby class tonight, no idea what's going on in this. Oh, and our mulch and soil got delivered today and then I think we got a foot of rain last night so now the soil is mud. I should have told them not to deliver until Thursday but I was so relieved when I called Monday and they could get it out yesterday that I was like that's great. Was sure they'd be booked up this week. Didn't think about the weather.

Future CF'er in the making.

In the baby class, they talk about giving birth.

During baby class you'll learn how to breath correctly. The most important thing DH will learn is how to count to four.

Totally depends on the person running the class. Our birth class we took with the first was run by a nurse who was very much into a natural birth as much as you can handle it. Nope, give me all the drugs. I think the part that I was not prepared for was the pushing. Like sore the next day going, "what the heck did I do?" Oh yeah, physical activity for hours on end . . .

If this was about BC or Pants or somebody like that, I'd have probably made a comment about the "something small" being what he's giving you, but since DH seems like a nice upstanding young man I won't say that. Also, since I'm now 50 years old I suppose that I should start acting more mature.

Pay attention but depending on how your labor goes you may never use a thing you talk about regarding that. Practice making the baby burrito and grab any sleep sack you can find.

I'm pretty sure that with our second child my wife told the hospital to get the epidural ready before she told the hospital that she was having contractions.
