How do people like asparagus that make it? I prefer either steamed or boiled, that’s it. If anything, slight bit of butter. My wife melts cheese on her’s, I wondered if she has some sconie blood in her. My mom used to make a version of asparagus/cheese soup, kinda like broccoli/cheese, that was fine but still prefer it plain.
Grill it. Stack it on a plate, drop a pat of butter on top, and then plate it two minutes later. Consume with rare/medium-rare New York Strip. Delicious.
