My inner sloth was YUGE today. Bet he weighed in at like four bills. Totes smothered any shot I had at accomplishing anything today. Suns supposed to be out tomorrow, hopefully that will fry his fat ass and I can get moving and do something.

Good luck! I'm about to start a job search myself so we need to stick together and hope karma works out.

Just takes one, right?

Found their schedule of courses for everything up to this fall.
It's what I'd expect. Each semester, teach 3 sections of the U.S. History survey (up to 1876).
That course is already prepped. Taught my setup 3 times. If they hire me, I just have to find a way down there and I'm ready to roll right through with minimal extra preparation.

Not exactly sure.
Woo hoo! Acute bacterial bronchitis!

I believe this is the first time I have ever had bronchitis in my 40+ years of life.

(It was hard not to type acute myocardial infarction...aka heart attack)

It gets easier to get each time.

The good news is drugs will kill it quick now that you've been diagnosed. :)

Ouch! Sorry to hear that.

Honestly, it’s for the better. I’ve been tentatively looking for another job for over a year. Taxes are a hard business to be in. The burnout is real. Plus, I didn’t get severance, because that’s paid out as a regular paycheck over time, but I did get a separation package of four months of pay up front, plus medical. So as long as I find a job by September, it will work out for the better.

Wherever I go, there I am.

I've no doubt you'll have something better!
