pre-vet is just pretty much the same as pre-med but easier, and with animal anatomy instead of human.

Really? Back in my day, pre-vet students who didn't get into vet school, were accepted at the medical school in iowa City.

Probably not. MD's have the luxury of concentrating on one species and generally have a specialty to boot. So they are likely very good at the narrow specialty that they do. If there is any value in it, it is almost automatic to send the patient to a specialist in the area of medical need.

Vets, whether small animal or large animal, have to be generalists among a lot of species and there isn't nearly as much sending patients out to specialists so they have to do a lot more themselves.

I'm sure it evens out in the end.

I am still confident in RV coming to Ames, we really need to get over this We Are ISU ****. Recruits for sure check this site out and already some are saying other schools here. Who knows where RV will end up, but for gripes sake we have a shot guys. He would mold into Freds system so easily and be very productive doing so and also the kid is smart and would represent ISU very well on and off the court.
