Re: Rashad Vaughn

Well excuse me I didn't know that. Not that I am bashing but it seems to happen on all the sites so I thought is was ok.... Now that I know I won't do that again. Please except my humblest apologies

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Give me the boot if you want I haven't disrespected not one of you....
I have been saying since I have been on here that Iowa State leads but that KU scares me seems I am proven right. Not only that but I believe at least one other person said that UNLV scared them. That person seems to be right as well. Yeah go ahead boot me, because I was right smdh

I doubt you will get booted.

Your post might get deleted though.

I for one, appreciate your contributions to this thread. That said, much of the hostility you are getting from I-State fans is based on our hatred of Roy and our experience during the Harrison Barnes SAGA on this board. Nothing personal you have done as far as I can see.

Keep posting.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

I can't believe people actually pay for this drivel. I could re-write this whole wall of text in about four sentences, and nothing in here is remotely ground-breaking.

Here are the things that stood out to me...

1. It seems that Kaffey is liking himself some "blue blood" programs. His reference to "even the smaller schools" don't want him to wait says a lot. Who are the "smaller schools"?

2. What did he mean by “He can go to a school like Iowa State or Minnesota and be able to have a lot success."

3. As a follow up to number 2... What do you think he meant by saying "a school like Iowa State or Minnesota"? Like what?

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Hate to say it, but this Kaffey guy seems to like the status quo. Iowa State is definitely not status quo. We will see what happens, but I don't think Kaffey is helping us at all.

I would take it as a dig at UNC if it was switched around, and I think you should take it as a dig at Iowa State

Re: Rashad Vaughn

There have been rumblings that Kaffey would go where were Rashad goes. although that may be how the game is played I don't care for it. no likey.

If Fred were to take them as a package, I'd lose a lot of respect for him. These handlers are a large part of the problem in college athletics

I agree. It just seems dirty. Although this is completely allowed per NCAA rules.

Am I the only one or is anyone else going to this forum 50 times a day to check and see if anything has happened in the last 15 minutes since last time you checked? They should change the name of the site to Vaughnfanatic.com

I don't have a problem with it if he's qualified and brings something to the table from a coaching standpoint. I have no idea what the situation is here. I don't want to be unfair to the guy who may very well be a mentor to Rashad.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Agree. We desperately need Vaughn to commit, so we can put this thread to a close...

Re: Rashad Vaughn

I agree it's shady but if the difference between having Vaughn or not is finding a spot on the staff for Kaffey, I'd probably do it. I know I'm most likely in the minority though.

Exactly what I read from this. Those quotes definitely don't make me more confident. Sounds like he wants to see Rashad going to the highest visibility program.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

I don't know of anyone actually suggesting any sort of package deal for RV and his coach. That said, I don't understand why any player would limit his options based on who would give a former coach a job (e.g. Whitehead). Seems weird to me, but maybe I'm selfish.

Iowa State had an in-home visit with Rashad Vaughn's family tonight in Minnesota, per a source.
