Re: Rashad Vaughn

I don't think so. Just know that he's gone on multiple visits to Bradley and I believe, but not positive, that he is using his last official there. I don't even think he's technically cut any schools from his list, but I could be wrong.

Side question - got to looking at Cunninghams rivals and thought what kind of 4 star would want to go to a small school with such great offers, then I started thinking of Booker. Does anyone know how/why Booker was a 4 star but only had one scholarship offer according to rivals?

Did a google search and found this:
Cool Dude Anthony Booker Flipped Off The Camera After Committing A Flagrant Foul

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Even Pete Kaffey should realize that UNLV will not make him a better player than it will at Iowa State. If he can realize this, then UNLV loses its last tie to Vaughn and then it's over.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

I was going through the crystal ball predictions earlier today and it seems like depending on what fan base you are from is where you think Vaughn goes. I think all but 1 UNC and UK fan predicted ISU, and all Dookies have predicted UNLV.

One does not simply reject Fred Hoiberg. It is folly.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

So, I would assume that getting McKay only helps our chances with Vaughn, correct?

Yes and no. W
Yes - we didn't get a SG/SF commit, which is what has essentially turned away UNC/UK.
UNLV seemed to benefit from their commit, so should we
he wants to know who he's playing with, well, there you go.

No - Josh Cunningham could commit and then we lose out. Although that's probably not gonna happen. I also wouldn't be surprised if this turned away Cunningham too.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

It can't hurt. Especially if the ship sailed on Cunningham. Probably just leave the 3rd scholly for Vaughn. If that falls through, wait for a skilled transfer during the offseason or 2015.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

For those that were waiting I finally got a new update from my sources.

So I asked what's new on the Vaughn situation and what are we having for dinner tonight.

My source responded with "I don't even know what that first question means and we are having chicken enchilada soup. Also don't forget you have to go to parent teacher conferences tomorrow."

I'm trying not to read into it too much but I don't feel as good about ISU's chances after this. The chicken enchilada was a direct message IMO.

I think a steak enchilada would have been a much better sign
