No question the Star Tribune upset Rashad. The twitter comment was probably deserving.. Seemed like there was a lot of innuendo and spin to it. From what I gathered Rashad probably thought it was entirely bogus--hence calling them clowns! I think UNLV will be on his list till the very end unfortunately.

So it's Friday and RV still hasn't released his top five... Why the wait? If he announced he is releasing his top five I assume he knows who his top five is so again why the wait?

He enjoys the recruiting process and the attention it brings? Feels like reality TV. Like contestants getting eliminated in a reality dating show.

My opinion is that RV was borderline to Minny when they still had Tubby. Once he was fired, I think the ship sailed. Just my thoughts based on some interviews I saw around that time.
However, to play devil's advocate a little, I will say I would be pretty ticked off at the Star if I was Minnesota fans. For argument's sake, let's just assume Minny was still in the running. Then the local paper runs that and pushes RV away.
I know if the Rag did something like that I would be pretty upset.
The worst part about all this is that I wouldn't expect RV to commit until the Spring Signing Day, April 16, 2014. We still have 4 months of this folks! Hang tight!

Rashad is taking the time he has to make a decision and using all of his official visits. I don't think you can read into it that he likes or dislikes the process. It's a big decision and he is being smart and taking his time.
I'd prefer he just commit to ISU, but he has every right to take his time and make the best decision.

Now they've given him a reason to do away with pretense.
Unfortunately if he does drop Minny from the list it will deny us an epic meltdown on the gopher hole.
