I think we keep it in this thread, but update the name like we just did. That way when historians look back on this, they can see the complete story spanning over a year from beginning to aftermath

I haven't been following this saga closely at all, but I sort of feel like it'll be UNC, for no reason other than that's the sort of thing that would happen to ISU. Plus Snake Oil Roy has a history of slithering in our underpants.

Hoping to be pleasantly surprised on Saturday, but not gonna sweat it either way.

I don't know if we'll see that level of teeth bashing. RV would be a monumental get for ISU but...this isn't your Momma's Greg McD or Morgan teams of the past. It won't make or break our season next year or next. I think a majority of the fans know even if he doesn't come here we'll still have a good team and finish in top half of conference again. He is the difference between being ranked Top 10 preseason and being a serious contender against KU for Big 12 crown.

I'm getting a bad feeling.

I think it goes 1 UNC and then tied is UNLV and ISU.

I'm not sure why. Always felt like he has wanted to go to UNC and now his parents are on board with it.

Extreme negativity or personal attacks on the recruit involved will be heavily moderated by the mod team. We can be disappointed without being disrespectful to anyone, and that is our expectation for CF posters.

I'm not saying it's impossible he'll go to UNC but what is one good reason of cancelling his official visit there and making his announcement the WEEK before he's scheduled to go? I can't really think of any way people can put a positive spin on it. Why wouldn't he just commit on his visit?

Only if it is Kentucky. Then we know a shoe box of money was left at his doorstep. Or as previous poster stated, a TRACTOR.

Does Rashad know that there are 612 pages of crap just about Iowa State fans obsessing over HIM? We will literally (not literally) explode in joy if he signs here. No other team in his top 5 has a fan base that cares anywhere close to as much if he signs with them than we do. Yeah we are just fans, but fans have to have some kind of importance, whatever it is. I don't know, I guess I just wanna feel good about myself whether he signs here or not!

I'm feeling a scenario where Roy Boy and Self collude some. Bill Self does not want superior talent going to Fred and dunking on his Mickey D's. I think we are kidding ourselves if we do not think that is part of the equation.

If he announces on live TV with the hats on the table thing, I'm not sure I'd be able to handle it.

The build-up would be too much... ISU, UNC, and UNLV hats in front of him the whole time...
