No kidding. Hope those 'sources' are truly legit. But then again, I fell for the poster that said Uthoff was wanting to come here (which I don't think EVER was a possibility) but that's just me.

From what I'm being told, he's not coming here. I think someone is trolling a bit. The people I know have said we have about a 5% chance,this was as of about a week ago. I doubt anything has changed recently.

Interesting.....I still think we have a fairly good shot. I'm not ready to say it's down to Iowa State and another school. But I think we are still right there.
I just don't think Hoiberg would have followed him around to every single game last weekend if he didn't feel that there was a good shot at him.

People around the athletic department are optimistic about our chances with Vaughn. I would say it is much higher than 5%. They feel like this could be an unbelievable recruiting class.

Hoiberg isn't dumb. He wouldn't put all of this effort towards RV if there was a 5% chance of him coming to Iowa State.
I still think its unlikely chooses the good guys but I bet the chances are much higher than 5%.

I'm being told by my sources that there is a good chance that RV wants to wear either cardinal, maroon or baby blue as one of his jersey colors. TIFWIW. He said that he likes gold, but he only likes it with cardinal 5-10% of the time.

Idk, I've gone from thinking "no chance" on RV, to "there must be a chance", to "assume there could be a chance", to "don't fall for those 'sources' chance". lol Almost to the point where I've talked myself into not even thinking about him. (oops..guess I just joined the thread, though) Just want ONE of the top PF's we're recruiting to make us happy and then the rest will be icing. Is that too much to ask? Probably....
