Re: Rashad Vaughn

I feel like conference prestige is going to hurt UNLV. I mean, if Rashad wants to play against of pushovers to pad his stats, go for it. But putting up 40 against Fresno State isn't as impressive as putting up 30 against Kansas, something he won't be able to do at ******** U

Exactly, amongst many other reasons why being a great player in the Big 12 is better any day than MWC. We have teams like Kansas who almost always have first rounders, not to mention lottery picks. You put up 30 against the likes of Andrew Wiggins who scouts know will probably be a first rounder/lottery pick, it's a hell of a lot better than putting up even 50 against some guy who will do nothing but play in Croatia after college (yes, there's NBA talent in the MWC too but you know my point).

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Totally, which is why I mentioned it. I guess my thing is "besides that, what does UNLV have to offer that ISU doesn't?"

Findlay Prep. Just like last year with Anthony Bennett. If Vaughn would of picked a different Prep school, we wouldn't even be hearing about UNLV right now.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Not to worry, my projection is that Rashad's family loves Coach Hoiberg and Ames and that it will be just too overwhelming and Rashad will pull the trigger after his official visit in November. Mark my word!

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Aww thats cute. You guys cant even take a quality honest post without a troll response. (give or take a few reasonable people here)

I found this from someone posting to a UNLV forum. Many are laughing from afar at how you guys really do think Vaughn is a lock....well good luck with that.

Oh and for all these football related posts? lols.
The only thing relevant was the 82-70 beat down you received last season.

I know I have this bookmarked for the future meltdown city. Have a good day.

Wow, at first I had no issue with the initial post and thought that it was actually a pretty decent post. Keep in mind of course you are going to get a harsh response from some individuals when you post anything on an opposing team's message board no matter what your saying, so you have to take it with a grain of salt. But after this last post I have a comletely different disposition of you and your entire fanbase. I know the Rebels do have some die hard fans that are classy and show great sportsmanship but this post just makes you look like a classless ******.

Anyone that thinks they are a lock to get a recruit without a signature already is a complete moron. Theres a few different teams that seem to have a very legit shot at him but anything outside of that is pure speculation. Any teams fanbase that is in the running for Vaughn is obviously going to be disappointed if they dont get him (except Kansas, their fans are delusional that no matter who they put on the floor they will have the best team in the nation). Will there be a disappointment if we dont get Vaughn at ISU? of course.... will there be a meltdown?? With the exception of a few, not really. We have Hoiberg so if we don't get Vaughn we are confident that CFH will put a competitive team on the floor. We just know what we have to offer Vaughn and think we have as good of shot as anyone. But if you come back... please dont be a ****** because your just inviting the troll responses.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

If RV wanted to go to Findley Prep to play against really good competition, why would he go to UNLV to play against... Air Force

I would much rather him go to UNLV than Kansas or Baylor... but obviously I want him at ISU

No wonder the North won the Civil War. I'm sure it was difficult for the rebels to recharge their Hoveround's in the midst of battle. I sure broken hips sidelined a lot of rebels as well.

Ken Burn's documentary recreated the battle of Gettysburg and the cries of "I've fallen but I can't get up" after the battle of Gettysburg was very emotional.

(Ok I'm done with the old people jokes)

Re: Rashad Vaughn

All the justifying why every other school would be the wrong choice is getting a bit silly. After getting my hopes up, I'm going back to assuming he won't come here and be happy if he does.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

UNLV is out there, doing weird stalker **** like this.

#2 2015 Zimmerman and top 25 Jeter are local recruits. Zimmerman's mom is UNLV alumni and has a close relationship with the staff. Jeter's dad played for UNLV.
The letters were a joke. The only reason it hit news was because Zimmerman and his mom thought it was funny and posted it on twitter where it blew up.

I would love to bookmark a UNLV thread but no one can find a forum that is worth a ****.

The only one I am involved in is a pay site. There are many freeboards out there.

Prostitution is legal in Clark County (where Vegas is located) something Story County cannot offer. :)

Is it? Maybe you should visit here and try out and see how "legal" prostitution is......

Edit: Somehow this posted immediately, but my other was up for approval? interesting.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

UNLV is a powerhouse blue blood and they are not to be trifled with. They CRUSH the likes of Fresno State, Air Force, and Nevada.
