This thread is basically a book by now, so can someone please verify for me that RV is rumored to be announcing where he will be going to school on Saturday?

I just hope the UNLV coaches are in the dark too. Anyway we can find out from the insiders from the UNLV camp if their coaches have no idea like ours?

I think it is spot on. It is consistent with everything that is believed to be true.
Imo, if we truly do not know (which may or may not be the case), then it is not us he is selecting. GMac may not have known Barnes was going to Skype Roy, but I bet Roy had a good idea to be Skype ready.

I actually have a funny story about this. Gmac told a very close friend of mine that Harrison was coming to ISU. The team got out of practice and had a small party of sorts in Johnny's to watch the announcement. My friend told me it was the most awkward stunned silence he'd ever experienced.

VERY GOOD POINT. IF it is true our coaches do not know, that is concerning. One would think the coaches would know before the actual announcement as the annoucement could be just for the media and fans.

how could that be true, was Johnny's even open. On top of that, Iowa State had a game against Idaho State just a few hours after the announcement.

Or not. It's just as conceivable to think that Vaughn is keeping it under his hat and that nobody knows for sure. We simply don't have enough information to make an accurate guess at what Vaughn is doing.

It was a pregame shoot around. Why else would they be practicing in Hilton? and it wasn't Johnny's at the time but there was still a room there with lounge chairs and whatnot.

The teams practiced at Hilton everyday until the offsite was built.
