Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Tuesday

If UNLV were to land him, the Rebels would have three top-25 recruits in the bag, with Vaughn joining shot-blocker Goodluck Okonoboh and five-star forward Dwayne Morgan. On the other side, Vaughn would be the best recruit of head coach Fred Hoiberg's tenure, and could take the Cyclones to another level next season.

Did anyone else realize this? Just now took the time to look it up, but it makes sense that he would want to go there, for all those people saying, "why would he want to go to UNLV." Both are great opportunities for him. We will see what happens Tuesday.

I do think that each school has it's positives. I also think that our advantage is Fred.

Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Tuesday

Did any of you clowns that are reading too much into Twitter ever think that Vaughn isn't following coaches because he just wants to be left alone instead of dealing with all sorts of possible players and/ or coaches being all over him ? Unfollowing someone on Twitter doesn't mean a damn thing. Goodness, some of you are bigger drama queens than a 16 year old high schooler.

Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Tuesday

He is as close a guarantee as there is and to insinuate that he would be a chemistry problem is typical clonedude bs. We can win without Vaughn and we will try and get something close with a transfer, but stop with trying to cope by marginalizing Vaughn's impact. There is a reason why our staff has recruited him harder than any recruit in program history. You should have saved them the time and called in last year to let them know.

There are people on here that are literally going to think it's the end of the world if Vaughn goes somewhere else on Tuesday.

I don't think that's the case at all IMO. I have faith and trust in Fred that we will be a VERY good team next year no matter what ONE player decides to do. That's all I'm saying.

Fred Hoiberg and Iowa State University are BIGGER than Rashad Vaughn. If he wants to come here, awesome, if not, so be it, at least we can all move on. But it certainly won't be the end of the world.

I will only be upset if he chooses Kansas at this point because I don't want to have to face him twice next year. If he picks KU, that is just a shot at Fred Hoiberg big time IMO. UNC actually makes a LOT more sense for him than UNLV does IMO. At least at UNC he's going to be on national TV a lot. At UNLV he will likely be a nobody that most around the country don't know anything about, unless he's able to lead them to an undefeated season or something.

Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Tuesday

Between this thread and reading all of the ISU fan twitter comments we very well could be the creepiest fan base in the country. Get a grip, we look stupid.

Then you're looking stupid right along with the rest of us. Why are you posting on this thread if it's so stupid?

Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Tuesday

So basically CF has gone through the 5 stages of grief before the official announcement is even made?

I'm really impressed guys, you've outdone yourselves this time.

baylor and ok state are loaded with talent too. If he wants to play next to other elite recruits and win unlv is an idiotic choice compared to KU.

Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Tuesday

This thread lost all sense of reality about 4 or 5 months ago. There is no going back. The mega thread has become self aware and eats all other threads. It cant be stopped

Might as well just throw in the towel! That sounds like a very accurate source. We are screwed.

Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Tuesday

Maybe his idea is to announce on tv by asking the winning coach to follow him on twitter? Hence the reason for the unfollow. Would be unique way to do it in his own way.

Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Tuesday

Hold up guys I've got sourced that will never be named that he was in the crowd during the Minnesota game. He's fooling us all. My accurate but forever uncredited sources also tell me he bought a clone cone in Hilton later and brought it back with him to Vegas to show everyone as well:jimlad:

Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Tuesday

This is off topic, so no better place to ask it then here. After you type something into the search bar, is there any way to have the word you searched for not be highlighted on every single thread you visit?

Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Tuesday

This guy may be as credible when it comes to this as my coffee mug but

Vaughn, the highest uncommitted guard in the country, said he's "still thinking about it." No decision has been made in his headExpand

That right there tells you all you need to know about this tool Ferguson. Vaughn would not have said he's announcing if even HE didn't know who he's picked. Some turd bag trying to latch on to Vaughn's coattails as are most if not all of the other tweets about him.

I'd rather focus on all the sportscenter replays of Ejim and our game coming up at WVU tomorrow. Vaughn will announce his decision Tuesday - that's all we know.
