He was a giant ball hog. I got tired of watching his circus double pump, behind the back, no look shots.
Yeah. That too. He tried too hard at times and had too many bad shots. But overall, I think he was trying. They all were trying. The problems were with the coaching, scheme, and adjustments. Bolton delivered more than anyone else last year, despite his flaws and the lousy context in which he had to play.
Sure but the why was never officially stated. There was some noise about being voted out by the players. Again no official why. Not welcome back could easily be, his desired part wasn’t an option in TJs structure. FWIW after last year in Prohm’s no structure point guard gets to do everything offense, he probably needed a move to help reset his expectations.
Rasir likes to use the word “I” and Coach wants “we” players.
Rasir had a great season since he didn’t need to be the man. He played a role. When he was here I think he thought he had to do to much.
To be fair to him, he was really the only P5 guard on the court for us for 1.5 years (Tyrese’s injury). JCL can be thrown in there the final year but everyone else those two years couldn’t do much.
Every single guy on Prohms final few years was playing a notch above where they should’ve been.
Good for Rasir. Playing on one of the most talented teams in the country in a sh1tty conference is going to make you look pretty darn good when you have his talent.
AFAIK he still has one more year if he wants it at Gonzaga.
