Yeah, win or lose, Texas is a cancer. They WILL cause problems in the SEC - rubbing Bama, Georgia, and OF COURSE A&M the wrong way.

Good riddance!

A day will come when Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Missouri, South Carolina, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Ole Miss all regret adding Texas.

A&M will regret it too but for different reasons if not already.

If Texas has multiple losing season in the SEC , I see them coming back in the 30s to the BIG 12 :)

I want Oregon and Washington before Arizona, but will gladly take all 3.

Oregon and Washington would really add a LOT to this conference football-wise... and that's what it needs IMO. We have no "big hitters" in the conference for football right now after Texas and OU leave. These two would give us a lot more relevance in that aspect. Plus, both Oregon and Washington are very good basketball teams too generally. Arizona football is pretty awful.

Oregon alone restores a lot of football credibility to the conference, at least as far as the rest of the nation is concerned. Would help greatly with media value and perception.

Until FSU/Clemson bolt you can at least pretend there are four big football conferences.

I include Big Ten in that list because outside of Ohio State the Big 12 has proven more in football.

The question is really how many conferences can realistically be mentioned with the SEC.

I've been doing pretty well with predictions lately and here's my next one.

Arizona State and Utah are gonna end up with no lifeboat. They looked down their nose at the Big 12 for the past year and insisted they had better options. Now they're gonna watch Arizona, Washington, and Oregon walk right past them and take the only remaining spots in the Big 12.

The good news is they'll get to be big fish. The bad news is their pond will be really really really small.

They'll be thrilled because it's what they wanted so bad. I saw an X from a Utah fan today that they'd rather rejoin the MWC than Big 12...they could have the dream!

The PAC ****** around with the media deal long enough, and is now finding out as schools start to bolt. There are probably max 3 seats and 5 viable schools that could fill them. If ASU and Utah didn't figure out that it's no longer **** around time, they're going to find themselves either in the MWC, or the PAC-branded equivalent.

I think AZ is in B12 for sure and I'm starting to think WA/ORE are in and ASU/UTAH is out.

With that in mind here is my guess

Pac 12:
Utah
ASU
Cal
Stan
WSU
OreSt
SDSU
SMU
UNLV
AFA
Gonzaga Hoops only
St Mary's Hoops only

MWC:
BSU
Fresno
Utah St
Nevada
San Jose St
New Mexico
Colorado St
Wyoming
NDSU
Montana/Montana St (one or the other or both)

I could see the Pac adding CSU before Air Force as a "replacement" to CU. Isn't overly splashy, but keeps them in Colorado, and there's quite a few CSU alums in and around Denver.
