Has anyone broken down how many timeslots are in the football season across the existing linear channel providers (ESPN, ABC, FOX, NBC, and CBS)? From the BIG contract it seams like we can infer the going rate for each timeslot and infer how much money the ACC is leaving on the table and what would be left for BIGXII or PAC-10.
I don't know the answer to your question. But the B1G is being very shrewd in locking down as many over the air broadcasts as they have, given the realities of cable cord cutting. In an environment where many are looking at streaming platforms as the future, the B1G is doubling down on the broadest possible platforms to be seen and be paid.
