Was that his coach in the interview? He sure wants him to be a Gopher. I thought coaches were supposed to help their kids go to the best situation. I suppose he believes Minny is the best situation but I don't recall coaches being so specific like that.

It must be his coach. At first I thought it was a Minnesota coach/ staff... And that would be a violation.

it sure seems like his coach, that is what we are up against, there will be alot of pressure on him to play for the gooofers. By the time Vaughn enters college, Minnesota may likely have a new coach.

I agree the coach was really pulling hard for him to stay home and go to minnesota....kinda strange that he's being so obvious about it.

I'm buddies with a high school head coach who tells me that he usually favors teams over others for specific players (due to playing time, who they are as people, etc...) but he would never make it public as to who he wants the player to go to. If the player asks him his opinion as to where they should go, he always asks them what's most important to them before he tells them his opinion (close to home, playing time, who the coach is)

2013 SG Matt Thomas (Onalaska, WI) has told Evan Flood (24/7 Sports) that he may visit Wisconsin once again this weekend for the Big 10 regular season finale. Thomas had said previously that he would like to visit Wisconsin once more before the season was complete and this appears to be that visit.

Well that's great news. Vaughn needs to be a priority for 2014 IMO. He's got good size and a ton of natural ability. I expect him to be a top 100-150 player.
