The Recruit Scoop

First of all, I will say that these all-star games are rarely intense or a showing of complete basketball (ball-hogging, no defense, etc.) but its interesting nonetheless. I wonder if any of our staff will attend.

It's pretty cool that Niang and Okoro will get to play on the same team. the game is May 5, so it won't be more than a month or so after that they should both be in Ames.

I know we're not actively recruiting Seldon, but I bolded/ included him since we're all so familiar with him.

Vaughn was there and talking to Fred after the game

This visit has to lie in stark contrast to his most recent visit to Minnie - not that they should be considered much competition. Also nice to see the other team in the gym that is recruiting him do their usual: look great early and fold when the pressure is on... Coach burn all but one of his timeouts halfway thru the 2nd half.

Per Evan Flood/ 24/7 sports, Kyle Washington is visiting the Badgers today.

That makes Thomas and Washington for them today.

Isn't he that seven footer, or do I have the wrong guy? Not that tall people can't shoot or anything

I honestly can't fathom wanting to play for Wisconsin unless you are athletically challenged. Seriously, if I was a player with any semblance of athletic ability I'd be embarrassed to even visit.

Of course, I hate Wisconsin basketball with a white hot passion so I may be biased.

You mean an entire team of 6'8" 240lb white dudes playing slowball doesn't do it for you?
