Yeah, I could see Macura choosing Minnesota. He is one guy we could afford to miss out on considering our guard depth. JJ I feel is not, would sting as bad as Washington last year. If we miss on him, I feel we will be calling the Juco ranks or possibly wait for a transfer.

Every team in the country will make room for Rashad if he chooses to go there. You don't eliminate yourself from getting a top ten talent.

It looks like he was headed to South Carolina coming out of high school (class of 2012).

Haughton played for legendary coach Marcos "Shakey” Rodriguez at Dr. Krop high school in Miami, FL. In his senior season for the Lightning, Ty averaged 14 ppg, 9 rpg, 4 apg, and 6 blocks per contest. That balance on the stat sheet earned Haughton a spot in the Florida vs USA All-Star Game this past April. The long and bouncy Haughton has the unique ability to change the game on either end of the floor.

Obviously but he may not want to go to some of these schools that already have an elite 2G or two.
Just from reading that article, I gathered that playing right away is somewhat high on his priority list. He mentioned he could do that at Xavier, Creighton, and the U of M. Not so sure he could do that in Ames.
This is true. There's only so many points to go around. Obviously the biggest need we have in the post would be in the Ben Wallace mode giving you physicality but necessarily a 30 point scoring threat.
A Jamie Vanderbeken is almost exactly what Fred would want in a big man. Can play some D, rebound, and cruise outside for the 3 ball. Since they aren't exactly a dime a dozen, I think you can remove the 3 threat from the wish list and grab someone who plays solid D and can board and make Fred a happy Coach. In this system, it's almost guaranteed we won't be looking for any big banger types in the middle.
Or you could just be nice and help me out. I went back to page 167 and didn't see anything.
