Yeah, I could see Macura choosing Minnesota. He is one guy we could afford to miss out on considering our guard depth. JJ I feel is not, would sting as bad as Washington last year. If we miss on him, I feel we will be calling the Juco ranks or possibly wait for a transfer.

That's a good thing about Vaughn waiting until spring. Some of these teams will start eliminating themselves if they don't want want to wait that long.

Every team in the country will make room for Rashad if he chooses to go there. You don't eliminate yourself from getting a top ten talent.

Can't find anything on Ivan. This must be Tyrone's highschool profile. Tyrone Haughton - Yahoo! Sports and Juco Tyrone Haughton - Yahoo! Sports

Haughton's high school profile has this article:
RivalsHigh - Early signing period: News of opening day

"At South Carolina, head coach Darrin Horn and his staff have three players committed. However, only three-star big man Tyrone Haughton will sign his scholarship papers during the early signing period."

It looks like he was headed to South Carolina coming out of high school (class of 2012).

Tyrone "Ty" Haughton is at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs. Here is his bio on goreivers.com:

Iowa Western Reivers

Class: Sophomore
Position: Post
High School: Dr. Krop High School
Height: 6'9
Hometown: Miami, Florida

2012-2013: (Freshman Season) Haughton broke the program's single season record for blocks (112) and single game shot block record against Cloud County with 12 blocks (12/11/12). He played in all 35 games in 2012-2013 and started in the last 23 contests of the year. He averaged 4.5 ppg and was second on the team in rebounding (6.5rpg) including a team high 8 double digit rebound performances. Ty was one of only two freshmen in the ICCAC named to the All-Region XI first or second teams. He was invited and participated in Jerry Mullen's "Top 100" Juco Camp this July.

HIGH SCHOOL: Tyrone Haughton or "Ty” as he is referred to, came to Iowa Western with an impressive resume. The 6’9 forward was a Rivals.com 4-Star recruit and received offers from UCONN, Alabama, Virginia Tech, and Marshall (according to ESPN.com) before eventually signing with South Carolina. Haughton played for legendary coach Marcos "Shakey” Rodriguez at Dr. Krop high school in Miami, FL. In his senior season for the Lightning, Ty averaged 14 ppg, 9 rpg, 4 apg, and 6 blocks per contest. That balance on the stat sheet earned Haughton a spot in the Florida vs USA All-Star Game this past April. The long and bouncy Haughton has the unique ability to change the game on either end of the floor.

PERSONAL: Ty is the son of Ira and Violet Haughton.

I love the shot blocking aspect of his game. With Niang and Nader, I don't think we need a big offensive threat down low, just a defensive one as well as a rebounder.

This is true. There's only so many points to go around. Obviously the biggest need we have in the post would be in the Ben Wallace mode giving you physicality but necessarily a 30 point scoring threat.

A Jamie Vanderbeken is almost exactly what Fred would want in a big man. Can play some D, rebound, and cruise outside for the 3 ball. Since they aren't exactly a dime a dozen, I think you can remove the 3 threat from the wish list and grab someone who plays solid D and can board and make Fred a happy Coach. In this system, it's almost guaranteed we won't be looking for any big banger types in the middle.
