I hope Thomas comes to the Baylor game, it would give those two some quality bonding time.

I'm guessing he'll be there, to be with Vaughn, and since its a Saturday and he doesn't have a game.

Plus it just gives him a better chance of holding on to the record with 39 unofficial visits

A few evening tidbits for you:

2014 Jared Terrell listed offers from Cincy, Miami, Providence, Boston College, St. John's, Tennessee, Rutgers & Temple in a local article posted today. He also indicated that Texas has recently shown interest.

Also, Rashad Vaughn listed offers of Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Tennessee, Maryland, KU, Florida, Syracuse & Minnesota along w/ UNC interest via Reggie Rankin of ESPN. This is essentially his list from what I've seen/heard from several people. Sounds like Vaughn expects to get an offer from UNC the next time they are able to watch him play.

IF this is supposedly the "cut down list", which I don't believe is true, am I the only one who noticed Baylor not mentioned? I was most scared of Baylor in this recruitment chase next to Minnesota. I still think his top 5 will be Iowa State, Minnesota, Kansas, Kentucky, Baylor/UNC.

Recent interview from Rashad Vaughn. He hasn't officially cut his list, I am guessing that will occur after his season is over... The also have blurbs from the other schools that he is considering in the link if your interested. (no comment on Baylor though)

NY2LASPORTS.COM - INTERVIEW WITH 2014 RASHAD VAUGHN

"I'm looking forward to narrowing down my list at some point. I don't know when though. It's been difficult to figure out who to cut out and who not. It's really who I just have the best relationship with and who I can fit in with at that college."

Vaughn has made a few visits to Minnesota already this season. The Gophers have certainly grabbed his attention with their surprising start to the season.

"They've been playing well and they've been getting up and down the floor," Vaughn said.

"The visit, it was good. The atmosphere was great, the fans were chanting. They've been looking good this year."

Up next for Vaughn is an unofficial visit to Iowa State when the Cyclones host Baylor on February 2nd.

"I have a good relationship with Coach (Fred) Hoiberg," he said. "They play my style of offense too."

Although no date is set, Vaughn also plans to get to Kansas this season for another unofficial visit to Lawrence.

"I like how they get up and down the floor too," he said. "They really do a lot of pick and roll stuff. The atmosphere is crazy at Kansas. Coach Bill Self, I like him and how he coaches that program and makes them better."

Why aren't we recruiting Terance Mann, SG from Tilton School?
How would anyone here know the answer to that? My response sounds more prickish than I would like.

It's a sincere question though.

fair enough... It was meant to be rhetorical, though.
I don't know anything about Mann, specifically, but I often run across guys that make me wonder why we aren't recruituing them. My guess is that the staff either saw something they didn't care for, not a position of need or fit, or they know the player isn't interested.

2014 big Sean O'mara is visiting us in a couple of weeks. Sounds like Xavier is heavily recruiting him.

He would be a great addition to our 2014 class IMO.

O'Mara, Custer, Travis and Vaughn would be sick
