Who's to say Niang doesn't go pro after this season, opening another spot up in the front court for one of these guys?

I'm not saying he will. Simply stating that it's plausible he could go. Would you be surprised if by the end of the year his name was being thrown around in draft talks?
I've been told by someone who knows Georges that Georges thinks this is his last year in Ames. Who knows the truth to that and I'm sure that's the mentality of a lot of good players who end up coming back
Really? I heard that from my Mom's friend's cousin's dad's grandson's freind's sister's dog. Is that who told you too?![]()

Was yours from Kevin Bacon's Group of Six Degrees of Freedom?Sounds like a VERY accurate source!
Well at least Henry cut his list early. I think it's safe to assume the the staff had focused squarely on Diallo and Dime for the post position earmarked schollys earlier in the summer anyways.

We can agree to disagree on that one. No chance McKay comes off the bench. Also, for what its worth, I'll take a 22 year old senior in McKay who has been in the program for three years over any freshman post player in the country.
Guys go pro after crummy team years, too. Money talks and if Niang gets feedback that he'll be drafted where he wants then he'll go, whether the team has a good year or not. The two things have nothing to do with each other.I think if Georges (or Monte) goes pro after this year, then we will all be really really happy because that would have meant Iowa State just had a really really good year.
