True but it just seems weird that he would switch the school he was visiting to twice within a week nonetheless

I agree. Columbia, SC is a good 4-5 hours from Atlanta.....if he is at GT this weekend, after all of the changes, seems like their may be a reason he needed to be home for the weekend.
