I think Lanning is all of 6'2. He's a good sized kid. I'm with Al on this though. If he is simply going to be a package, then we need to get him to a spot where he helps us out. OU can afford to have an athlete sit in a package for a couple years, we can't. All that said, he is going to give Hodge a run for his money in being the QB of that class.

You may find Trevor Hodge's stat line from last Friday night's game interesting. He had 17 completions (out of 22 attempts) for 272 yards; with 4 touchdowns (also 2 ints). Trevor rushed 15 times for 210 yards.

High school stat lines are high school stat lines. Nothing more, nothing less. Care to give me Shane Morris' stat lines and then compare that to his perception as a college prospect?

If we figure out a way to pack on 2-3" of height, I want that formula.

Gene's cobbler could probably help...

S&C coaches can add good weight but Lanning needs another 2-3 " in height to play that role.

Tebow is only 6'3". I think Lanning is big enough for it. Whether or not it would actually work with our personnel is another thing.
