RECRUITING: Prentiss Nixon commits

You realize the only other reported offers were from SMU, ILLinois State and Loyola, so not sure getting a commitment from Nixon necessarily indicates he is successful in recruiting transfers.

From what I’ve found Nixon played AAU w/Illinois Wolves and Liddell plays for Brad Beal Elite (and STL Eagles in the past). Plus Liddell is 2019 and Nixon was class of 2019 so idk how likely it’d be that they played together. However for that someone else we’re in on part, Mario McKinney also plays on Brad Beal Elite w/Liddell.
I think I might have had my wires crossed on Nixon and McKinney. I just remembered there being some potential package deal there with Liddell.
I think Horton-Tucker and Liddell are pals, too, right?
Prohm's recruiting and relationship building landed Nixon before most of us had even heard of him. His former coaches tweet was ominous and hopefully just a tease of what is to come. Anyone still on the fence about his recruiting just doesn't get it. It's chess, not checkers.

What is with the massive knee brace in the picture? I hope it is completely healed and not another Hans situation where the knee is a nagging injury.
So since this is official can Prohm haters now officially chalk up everyone else Prohm was looking at for this spot as a miss?
To be fair, Hans knee was healed. You’ll remember he played well for s few weeks in December (right when the team was playing pretty well) and he ended up with a new injury.
Good get and a valid 2019 need that puts Nixon in the right place for additional development during the sit out year.
Good thing Iowa didn't get involved...but their depth at PG allows them to address other needs.
Someone get this guy a picture of Nixon without the brace ffs. He’s not going to be able to sleep all concerned like this.
From watching his highlight videos, his offensive game looks similar to Hallice Cooke (Oregon State highlights). Hallice just wasn't the same after the surgery at ISU.
