Yeah good luck to any program not named Mizzou with getting any top Askren wrestlers. Ben will claim he doesn't influence, but he's pretty much all in on that pipeline.

Only so many spots on a team, similar to the sqwacks. Only so many kids can wrestle 125, 133, 141. Askrens kids tend to be the 165, 174, 184, 197 and they are going to be competing against each other just to start.

Word is Buchanan can go right away.
This is really a double edged sword. I’m all for athletes not being indentured servants and being free to stay or go, but it’s ********* that Teyon Ware gets hired the beginning of October and now six weeks later Buchanan follows him and can compete right away.

That’s a big middle finger to Mark Branch and Wyoming

Hopefully picklo doesn’t outgrow 184 in the next 2/3 years. He was a big recruit for them and they undoubtedly have some good money tied into him

Bridges are burning quickly too according to Branch's girlfriend. I think the main reason is following Ware, but hearing he wanted to redshirt this year and Branch wanted him to go is where it maybe started.
