Talented kid, strong kid, likeable kid. Had a serious knee injury. Talent with incredible size coming in behind him. College wrestling is tough.

Schuyler is done after this year. Schon is the only other 285 on the roster, or currently committed for 2023, with great high school credentials (assuming Hagerty stays lower). I hope he heals completely soon or we can beam someone up through the transfer portal.

I'm going to say the portal doors will be wide open this year. And the product will be much easier to sell this time around.

There were 2 bucks rolled here on the southern border east of Lu Verne. Good looking boys. We run them cows on the creek there and the amount of pheasants this year when harvesting along it was something we haven't seen in a while. I think a lot has to do with a bunch of us doing population control on them coyotes.

I like your theory. I haven’t seen a ton of coyotes this year while out chasing birds, and I’m okay with that! I hit a bit of IHAP land in Hamilton early this season that had decent numbers. I can’t contribute land to hunt, but I have a pretty good dog that can put this kid on birds. If any of you guys want some pheasant control, let me know. Good land can be hard to find!

Haven't seen this on the Iowa board, but my brother is a big Iowa fan and apparently Nathanael Jesuroga has decided to go into the Army and will not be signing with Iowa. Big loss if true as he was the #8 P4P in this class.

He's a freshman at Ames and it looks like he transferred from Erie Prep in PA. And when he was still in Erie he wrestled with Bad Karma Wrestling, same club Paniro wrestled with.

Have a buddy who is an assistant wrestling coach in the area. Said he saw him around a week ago. Said he won, but gassed hard. Tough weight for a kid that young.
