Did anyone else see Reid Travas play against some of the top talent in the nation yesterday? He was a beast down low scoring with a variety of moves over taller opponents. Then he took them outside and hit the three. He would be huge for Fred and ISU. Fred could definitely bring out the best in this kid to showcase his talents to the next level. I couldn't imagine having two Niang's.

A lot of Similarities

Travis and Niang both have an old school type of post game with a lot of moves. Travis might end up being better as he seems to be a little quicker and better rebounder.

I agree he does seem quicker to the ball and more of a tenacious rebounder. But they would create so many mismatches on the court.

Travis would be a great get but don't get your hopes up too high. I have heard from a family member that ISU wasn't even in his top schools, but that was a couple of months ago so things might have changed. I'll have to ask again, I just don't want to be a pest about it.

Be that as it may, OP can you please change the title of the thread so the kid's name is spelled right?

To be honest, our chances of getting Travis in a Cyclone uniform is less than 5 % in my opinion. Appears to be Stanford bound.

Has this been confirmed by anyone other than CW? Not saying he's wrong but Rivals has him visiting UCLA next weekend.

Recruits can take more than one visit, just ask Allen Lazard. Even though there might be a small chance we get him, he can take multiple visits, no matter what Rivals says he has lined up for visits.

Thanks for letting me know, didn't know that:rolleyes:

My point was CW said he was visiting here next weekend as well.

There is only one Georges Niang. I would love to see Travis playing next to him though.
