For me that's Patrick Stewart.
I saw a recent interview with him. Sure he has some memory issues, but the guy is still sharp and full of life
We should all hope to be as healthy as DVD at 99
I'm beginning to think William Shatner is going to outlive Patrick Stewart. For 93 he sure looks good and seems to be very active.

For sure, he definitely looks good for 93. I know he had a cancer scare not too long ago, so that's probably an ongoing concern
Was going to say having a wifey half your age can do wonders but I see he divorced her in 2020. They were on an episode of that antiques show based in Iowa and seemed to be fine. He pretty much told them to get the stuff she wanted. Couldn’t have been long before they split. Weird.

I actually met him last spring at an autograph show in Orlando. He looked amazing and was very into the fans.
I was maybe 100th in line and when I got up to him I said, "Riverside, Iowa." He took about 3 seconds and then I said, "Captain Kirk's future birthplace. I used to live very near there."
I was going to bring it up about "Invasion Iowa" but he beat me to it. Said something about, "we punked the town in a series called Invasion Iowa." I said I had seen it and loved it but I really liked that he was just too nice of a guy and couldn't continue the scam."
A friend with me took several pictures and we're pointing and laughing and he was really in the moment.
Sad this is the first thing I think of when I hear Gene Hackman. RIP
A long way from his best role but still he was funny as the tobacco king in Heartbreakers with JLH and Sigourney Weaver(?)
Clint has done a lot of good movies also. I really liked Gran Torino.
I hadn't realized Hackman retired from acting for something like 20 years. Agree one would think he and his wife would have family/friends to check on them. But his wife was much younger and maybe pretty healthy- so no need for people to do wellbeing checks.
Also they lived in a gated community and homes in Sante Fe can be walled off from neighbors. So maybe not a lot of interaction with neighbors either unless they walked their dogs off property.
